Bittersweet 2 in 1

I grew up with music that turns to be my alltime favorites in Metallica and Pearl Jam. My eldest brother choked me in with those metallibash music, with Metallica on his top priority, since I was 6!. Meanwhile, my sister brought home a nice Ten cassette when I was in juniorhigh. Those two bands were my eternal references in discovering new music, which later I found the likes of Soundgarden, Megadeth and any other bands.

I always dream to catch their concert in a single bill, which was almost impossible. Did I say "was"? I got noticed today that in this year' Bridge School Benefits (organised by Neil Young) will feature a bill of my dream. Almost...

Metallica will play in this annual charity show, along with Eddie Vedder (who will lined up with Flea and Jack Irons - not Pearl Jam), Tom Waits and newborn blues virtuoso, John Mayer.

But I guess it'd permanently be the dream of mine as there's no chance I could catch that extravagant concerts.

Sigh...
